3. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Calculate estimated earnings, process payouts, and verify identity;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents;
- Enforce our Terms of Service and applicable policies;
- Communicate with you about your account, payouts, security, and product updates;
- Comply with legal obligations including tax and anti-money-laundering requirements.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (operating your account and processing payouts), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, product improvement, security), legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests), and your consent where required.
5. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- service providers strictly necessary to run the platform (hosting, database, authentication, analytics, fraud scoring, payment and payout processors), under contracts that protect your data;
- law enforcement, regulators, or other third parties when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity;
- parties involved in a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets), in which case data will continue to be protected under this Policy.
6. Fraud prevention & risk scoring
To protect creators, advertisers, and the platform, we may collect, score, retain, and share signals associated with suspicious traffic (for example device fingerprinting, IP reputation, behavioral patterns, and unlock timing). Accounts associated with fraud or abuse may be flagged, restricted, or blocked, and corresponding data may be retained for as long as necessary for investigations and enforcement.
7. Data retention
- Account data: kept for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and dispute obligations.
- Click and unlock events: retained for up to 24 months, then aggregated.
- Login history and security events: retained for up to 24 months.
- Payout records: retained for the period required by applicable financial and tax law (typically 7 years).
- Fraud-related signals may be retained longer where necessary to protect the platform.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege backend roles. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights from Settings or by emailing privacy@linkvel.com. We may need to verify your identity and may decline requests where retention is required by law or necessary for fraud prevention, security, or enforcement of our Terms.
11. Children
Linkvel is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@linkvel.com.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
